The Forest Products Laboratory was founded in 1910 in Madison, Wisconsin. Over 100 years later, the Lab continues to produce critical wood products research that will help create a more sustainable future. With over 150 staff and numerous partnerships with universities, governments, and corporations across the country, the Forest Products Lab is a truly unique part of the Forest Service.
