Notes: Take this walkTuesday through Friday (l'église Saint-Roch is often closed Monday). Everything on this walk is open on Saturdays; however, Saturdays are very crowded, so I recommend against going on the weekend. The Opéra Garnier is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you happened to be here, a nice day in December is a wonderful time to do this walk, because you will see Christmas decorations and displays in the department stores where the walk begins. Visiting the Opéra Garnier is a must—even if you don’t stop there during this walk. When you do visit, make sure to bring a guidebook. If you don’t have one, you may purchase one at the shop inside the opera house.
