Notes: You must select a day and a time for this walk. The musée de l'Orangerie is closed Tuesday, and there is an open-air stamp market on Thursday and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. During the walk, you will go in front of several French government buildings and foreign embassies. They are heavily protected, as you might imagine. Be obedient to the signs and any directions you might receive from guards. Be circumspect about taking pictures of French government buildings and foreign embassies—you do not want to be mistaken for a terrorist. The guards take their responsibilities very seriously.
