Beginning of Solomon Hill Neighborhood Tour

The area in 1922 was a cattle pasture. There were no road. There were no utilities. The roads were dirt paths created by wagon traffic.

Sons Wesley, Willie R., and Lawson, ages 23, 19, and 14. Daughter Ida, aged 19. And additionally, thier son in law Tabu aged 22.

This lot was purchased in 1922, and the house was built new in 1926 by Rease Fox as Rental House.Based on the 1930 Census, the home occupied husband and wife Rosco and Mary, ages 26 and 24. Sons named Rosco jr, Henry, and Aj, ages 4, 1, and 6. Aditionally, daughters named Rarelto and Suelto, aged 7 and 8.

Built in 1923, the lot was purchased in 1922 by Pleasant Grove Baptist. The buildng design is based on St. James AME Church in QuakerThe photo of the church is actually the former St. James AME church that was dismantled by this Baptist congregation and reassembled exactly like it looked when built in Quaker.

They had 3 daughters, Georgia, 27, Fannie, 24, and Nannie, 21 and 2 sons, Clarence, 18, and Jewel, 14. Additionally 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson, Ladelle, 10, Idelle, 8, and W. D., 7.
