Walk across Ireland in twelve steps. The Irish Memorial is carved in marble and stretches across the end of Charlotte Street overlooking the Charleston harbor. Find the flags of Ireland, the United States and the City of Charleston waving in the breeze over the green expanse of lawn that leads to the monument. Along the perimeter you'll find the original harbor port mounts that were used to tie the many boats that came into this harbor as well as an honorary wrought iron gate.
