You're at the Rassbach Museum, the home of Dunn County Historical Society. We preserve and share Dunn County history. Come in, wander around the exhibits, play in Fulton's Workshop, shop in the Museum Store. Menomonie: Can you believe it?

You are at the Municipal parking lot #6, across the street from the Marion Building, in Menomonie's Downtown Historic District. Park in a metered space (some spaces are permit only).Parking in Menomonie Meters are enforced Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm. Parking is free on weekends. Downtown parking, including lot #6, is free in the summer and during winter break. Free metered spaces are marked with a blue bag or ribbon.

Irvington: A Local Icon & millions of baskets

Downsville: 175 Years of History in a 1/2 Mile

You are at The Creamery parking lot. On-street parking is also free throughout Downsville. Why do the addresses say “Menomonie”? Because Downsville is an unincorporated village. You're in the right place!

Eau Galle: Powered by Water

You are at the Eau Galle Park and Historical Site. 367 County Rd D, Eau Galle, Wisconsin. There’s a picnic area and play structure to your left, and hydroelectric plant and dam to your right as you’re facing the river. 300 feet south is the entrance to a parking lot overlooking the bottom of the dam. Eau Galle Park and historical site was given to Dunn County in 1965.

Dunnville: 2 Rivers and a Bridge

You’re at the parking lot for the Dunnville Wildlife Area. Please be respectful of this unique and diverse area that we share.

Meridean: Happy Island and its Ferry

You are in the Chippewa River State Trail parking lot in Meridean. Parking is free. Walking on the trail is free, but you need to purchase a pass to bike on it.

Elk Mound: Long View of History

You’re just north of Elk Mound at the Mound Hill Park, (N435 Holly Avenue). The road to the top is open May 1 to October 31. If you’d like to stretch your legs and do the challenging hike to the top, you can park at the adjacent municipal park and take the path to the asphalt road. If you drive up the narrow road, there’s room to park at the top.At 1,220 feet above sea level, Mound Hill Park Castle on Mound Hill offers a panoramic view of the village and surrounding areas.

Colfax: History in Stone

You’re at the Municipal Building, which is the start of the walking tour. Parking is free in Colfax.

Sand Creek: Stories are History

You are in front of the Clarella Hackett Johnson Public Library. Parking is free in Sand Creek.

Ridgeland: Base Ball on the Blueberry Line

You’re at the Ridgeland Historical Park, where you can learn about geography, Native Americans, women’s suffrage and more. Take a few minutes to wander through the paths lined with native plants and enjoy the information curated by local historians! Parking is free in Ridgeland.

Boyceville: Pickles

You are parked in the Andy Pafko Memorial Park, dedicated to an early baseball star who went to high school in Boyceville and played for early Boyceville and Connorsville teams before moving on to the major leagues. If you look across Hwy 170 you'll see the railroad line originally built by Wisconsin Central Railroad (now the Canadian National Railway), and past that further north is Tiffany Creek.

Knapp: Gold?

You are at the Knapp Community Hall. Parking is free in the village of Knapp. The community hall was built in 1924 and is still in use today.
