ECO ART/PHOTOGRAPHY: The perfect connection of nature and art

fireflymandalas@gmail.com

401-474-1064

Each Mandala is foraged and photographed locally in Tiverton, RI. These mandalas are impermanent eco-art. A beautiful intersection of nature and art. Once captured at the moment of design, they are left to recycle back into nature and will never look the same as they did at the exact moment. Every Mandala is completely different in color, texture, movement and feel.

Named after the inner fire that we all possess, these “Firefly Mandalas” were ignited in 2016. This new line includes note cards, tumbled marble coasters, mini notes, magnets, ornaments, aluminum wall panels & photographic prints.

Meredith’s work is inspired by the farm coast, local beaches and ever-changing fauna at her farm in South Tiverton, RI, where she grew up and gratefully lives today.

Holly Dirks' work and process is the perfect example of when an interest becomes a passion. She started playing with clay 10 years ago and now it is her full time project.

Originally hailing from The Pacific Northwest and now residing in Tiverton, RI, Holly tends to incorporate elements of the ocean and mountains into her pottery. What makes her work unique and special is that she has developed many of her own glazes.

These glazes reflect the colors and feelings that are evoked in her while being surrounded by the natural splendor of water and land. She knows them both well.

Holly circumnavigated the North Atlantic Ocean, with her husband, on their sailboat. She has experienced many sea states from becalmed seas, gales, sunrises and sunsets in the middle of the ocean. She has also hiked into many of the alpine lakes in the Cascade Mountains in her home state of Washington.

Holly's pottery pieces are meant to be used and loved freely. They are all oven proof, food, microwave and dishwasher safe. Her goal is for the owner of her pieces to also feel the connection to the ocean and mountains as they are being used.

Holly's studio is located at the top of a long driveway. She has 2 granite posts and a black square mailbox at the bottom of the driveway. Feel free to park at the top of the driveway that is wide for easy turn around. Our friendly dog Tilly will probably greet you. Holly will have cool drinks and a place to rest also.

FUSED GLASS: Handcrafted fused glass with vibrant, unique and functional designs

Find us on Instagram!

Will provide ongoing demonstrations throughout the Tour weekend.

Sherri Feld is a fused glass artist based in Tiverton, Rhode Island, creating distinctive handcrafted pieces with vibrant colors, thoughtful composition, and balance of functionality and decoration. Each artwork begins with individually hand cut pieces of colored glass, carefully arranged to form the underlying design. These components are fused in a high temperature kiln, transforming multiple pieces into a single, smooth panel. A second firing softens the glass so it can “slump” into molds, allowing each work to take on its final shape—whether a bowl, plate, tray, or sculptural form.

Sherri works primarily with Bullseye Glass sourced from Portland, Oregon, a material known for its consistency and color range. Every piece is created in her home studio, located in her basement garage, where she completes each stage of the kiln forming process by hand. She welcomes custom commissions for clients seeking personalized pieces and offers private classes for those interested in learning the craft of fused glass.

Her artistic journey is deeply influenced by her mother, who served as her mentor and creative guide. Following her mother’s passing in 2023, Sherri moved her mother’s Florida studio to Rhode Island, incorporating her tools, materials, and legacy into her own evolving practice. Today, this connection continues to shape Sherri’s work as she passes these skills and traditions on to her daughter as well, blending technical craft with a multigenerational sense of heritage and meaning.

Beyond fused glass, Sherri explores additional mediums that showcase her love of texture, pattern, and handmade craft. She creates wall tapestries and rope bowls, each reflecting the same thoughtful attention to detail present in her glasswork. Together, these creative pursuits express Sherri’s broader passion for artistry, material experimentation, and the joy of turning everyday objects into works of functional beauty.

Enjoy live fused glass demonstrations throughout the day and see how each piece is created from start to finish. Watch as individually cut-glass elements are arranged, fused in the kiln, and shaped into their final forms. Wander through the studio to explore a wide range of finished artwork, from functional bowls and trays to decorative panels and sculptural pieces. Whether you’re interested in the creative process or searching for a unique handmade item, the studio offers an inviting space to learn, observe, and shop. Discover one of a kind glass art and take home something truly special.

Please note that the driveway is gravel. Follow the posted signs for parking and for the short walk to the studio. The studio is in the basement/garage at the back of the house, and the garage door will be open for entry. Restrooms are not available on site. On street parking is not recommended.

Jennifer Jones Rashleigh’s acute analysis of birds, fish, botanicals and beach scenes, transfer into a catalytic process, distilling natural details into salient essence. She applies acrylic in all its dexterity; diluted washes, translucent gel coats, brushed, poured, knifed, dragged opacities and thickly pulled impasto textures that lift off stretched canvasses and hand painted pillows.

Rashleigh encourages clients to run their eyes and hands across her artwork. “There is something generative that occurs when we as humans look at and touch something simultaneously, she says.” In this coalescence of natural observation, material application united through interpretation by the viewer, “nature speaks, guiding truth, eloquence and inspiration.”

My art studio is in the back of my business: Cédian Painting: Studio-Gallery. Located at 3848 Main Road at Tiverton Four Corners my space is on the North Side of the building on the 1st floor. Parking is free and you are welcome to park anywhere in the neighborhood

Pat's abstract landscapes and collages endeavor to share her perspective on the Rhode Island coastal environment that has become her inspiration. Often times it is the broader picture of the beaches, sea and marshes, but just as often it is the small things that catch her eye as in the flotsam and jetsam that washes ashore or collects in the seagrass.
