Tour Overview
A natural history hike to Mount Diablo Falls focused on woody plants. Follow along with the AllTrails map. Park on Regency Drive at Donner Creek Fire Road. Be sure not to park in the restricted areas as you may be ticketed.
The hike is about 5.5 miles. You will need plenty of water on hot days. If you prefer a less strenuous hike, return after you take in the views near the Hoptree (Point 43). This shorter hike is 4.5 miles and misses the steeper terrain.
