The purpose of our Waldorf Veterans Memorial Park (WVMP) is to provide a commemorative place to celebrate the memory of all American Veterans who served our country to protect and provide us our freedom and peaceful way of life. The WVMP is also dedicated to representing our Active Veterans, Policemen, Sheriffs, Firefighters, EMTs, and other First Responders who still serve every day to provide health and safety to us all in Southern Minnesota and beyond.

Waseca Nature Park is located in the nortwest area of town. It is accessible via the bike path that runs from the High School parking lot by the ball fields. As the trail turns south the entrance is located to the right in approximately 150 yards after the curve. It is designed as a nature-focused area for hiking, wildlife observation, and enjoying wildflowers. It seves as a beautiful place to experience nature in all seasons by using the maintained trails through the area.
