RAP Garden Tour

Years ago, before The Tides Group took shape, my wife Bri and I spent countless evenings walking our German Shepherds Bird and Billie through Riverside and Avondale—often stopping longer than we should have, admiring the historic homes and peeking into gardens along the way.

With a deep appreciation for architecture, landscape design, and the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, The Tides Group was formed. Dedicated to thoughtfully restoring and reimagining historic properties throughout Riverside and Avondale. Each project is approached with a focus on preserving original character while introducing modern functionality—creating homes that feel both authentic and livable.

The gardens featured in this year’s tour reflect the same philosophy. From intimate courtyards and brick patios to expansive lawns and layered landscaping, these outdoor spaces are designed to extend the home beyond its walls—offering places for gathering, relaxation, and everyday enjoyment. And just as importantly, there is no such thing as too small of a garden—whether it’s a full backyard transformation or a simple windowsill with a few plants, every space has the opportunity to grow and bring life to a home.
