Riverfront Loop

The Riverfront Loop! Get ready for a unique and georgous experience! The St Johns River flows right through the heart of downtown and this tour takes you along and over this majestic river. You will wind through our beautiful riverfront parks, see some public art and glide through several shopping districts. Jacksonville just opened the all new Music Heritage Park, RiversEdge Park and Riverfront Park. Jacksonville's public park scene is world-class! This route will guide you to all the exciting additions!

Detour Alert! Please note the Main Street Bridge (the Blue Bridge) will be undergoing construction and you will have to follow the detours to cross the bridge to the South Bank along the northbound pedestrian path of the bridge.

Once you download the tour, select a stop, click on "get directions" at the top of each page. There is a map icon at the bottom of the page where you can select any of the stops on the tour. When you visit the stops in order, you will find a safe and engaging route along the river, into downtown and over the Shared Use Path (The sUP). Once you are on the Riverwalk, stay there! (sometimes the GPS does not recognize the path and will recommend a different route). Enjoy and if you see a piece of trash, please pick it up and keep Jacksonville clean!
