Tour Overview
I invite you to discover the treasures this city has to offer. We begin our tour with the Basilica of San Pietro in Ciel d'Oro, famous for its golden mosaics and historical importance. We will then continue to Pavia's Castello Visconteo, home of the Musei Civici, where you can immerse yourself in art, architecture and exhibitions. We cannot forget the Teatro Fraschini, an architectural jewel that offers exciting performances. Along Via San Zeno, you can admire the beauty of its streets. Our next stop will be the University of Pavia, one of the oldest in Europe. We will continue to Piazza della Vittoria and the impressive Broletto, a historic building representing civil power. Finally, we will visit the remains of the Civic Tower and the majestic Cathedral of St. Stephen and St. Mary of the Assumption, evidence of Pavia's ancient grandeur.
