Provo Bike "Walk"

Tucked away against the Wasatch Mountains, Provo is a city that begs for exploration via bicycle. With its awe-inspiring beauty, active community, and outdoor recreation opportunities, Provo is home to a vibrant community for whom biking has become a way of life, both for enjoyment and commuting purposes: “Its residents bike to work at more than five times the national average.” Creating a bike-friendly city, however, has been a journey marked by challenges. In the past, cyclists faced limited infrastructure and car-centric streets, making biking difficult and change necessary. Provo’s journey to becoming a bikeable community reflects progress, perseverance, and a shared vision for a better city.
