Note: Take this walkon aSaturday, Sunday, or Monday. To find everything open, Saturday morning is the best. Monday after 10:30 a.m. or early afternoon is best if you want a less crowded walk. Bring a friend, but practice your French. Try not to be too obviously foreign. In all flea markets (upscale or not) taking pictures is regarded as an unwelcome invasion of privacy. If you can’t resist, be very discreet. Although specific stores are mentioned, do not be dismayed if you cannot locate them—simply enjoy the ambiance of the various markets.
