Tour Overview

The Healing Pioneers

A Glimpse into Lake Jackson's Early Medical History

The medical history of Lake Jackson finds its roots in the efforts of dedicated doctors, nurses, and volunteers. Medical personnel of Lake Jackson played a vital role in serving the town both as medical professionals as well as advocates by collaborating with local organizations, schools, and businesses to help fulfill the needs of a budding community.

This tour showcases a glimpse into the history of Lake Jackson’s early medical community, drawing upon the history found within the current collection of the Lake Jackson Historical Association. It does not reflect the entire history of Lake Jackson’s medical community or facility history.
