Welcome to Macon!Our Downtown Visitor Information Center sells official International Cherry Blossom Festival merchandise, from collector pins and t-shirts to pink poodle plushies! Stop inside to get information on this year's International Cherry Blossom events, and additional fun activities, places to stay and eat in Macon! Directions: Take a right onto Martin Luther King J. Blvd. from the Visitors Center. Turn left onto Riverside Drive and continue down it until you reach Ingleside Avenue found on the left side of the road. Continue down Ingleside Avenue until you reach Ridge Avenue. ake a right down Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and continue straight until you arrive at Riverside Drive where you will take a left turn on to it. Rose Hil and Riverside Cemetery will be on your right. Then take a left on Ingleside Avenue.

Ingleside Avenue/Fickling Home

Ingleside Avenue is known for its historical and beautiful homes, including the man responsible for planting thousands of Cherry Blossom trees, William Sr. Fickling. The family's home is found right after the intersection of Pierce Avenue and Ingleside on the right-hand side.Directions: Once you pass the intersection of Pierce Avenue and Ingleside, Continue down Ingleside until you reach Ridge Avenue and take a right. Continue down Ridge Avenue through a traffic light to a stop sign and turn right on Forsyth Road. Then veer right to Wesleyan Drive and turn right onto Guerry Drive also known as the Wesleyan Woods Subdivision.

Wesleyan Woods Cherry Blossom Trees

The Wesleyan Woods Subdivision is known for having some of the most beautiful cherry trees in the area! Drive through this beautiful neighborhood and enjoy the lovely shades of pink!Directions: Turn off of Wesleyan Drive to the right on Guerry Drive. Continue past the stop sign and downhill. Take the first right onto Oxford Circle and stay on Oxford Circle which will change to Oxford Road. Once you are back to Wesleyan Drive then turn right and continue straight until you are at the traffic light. Turn left onto Northside Drive and continue straight until you arrive to Rivoli Drive and take a left.

Fickling Farm Cherry Trees

After turning left on Rivoli Road from Northside Drive, the Fickling Farm is found on your left. The Fickling Farm belonged to William Sr. Fickling, who planted thousands of trees at this location and all across Macon over the decades.Directions: To return to Downtown Macon, continue down Rivoli Drive to Wesleyan Drive. Take an immediate right across the railroad tracks. At the light turn left on Forsyth Road to return to Downtown Macon.

Third Street Cherry Trees (New Grove)

We advise parking your vehicle at the Downtown Visitor Center or a Downtown Parking lot so you can stroll through this new cherry tree grove on Third Street. The area can be congested on the weekends. You can see a live stream of this grove by heading to visitmacon.org/bloomcam! Directions: Continue walking down Third Street until you arrive at the second grove of cherry trees at Third Street Park.

Third Street Park Cherry Trees

The most well-known and famous cherry tree pictures have been taken at Third Street Park. Take a picture in front of the pink fountain or in front of the double rows of cherry trees that stretch two blocks. Directions: Stroll through Third Street starting at the fountain at the intersection of Cherry Street and Third down to Mulberry Street.
