Tour Overview
Maine’s Kennebec Valley is home to 14 craft brewers, distillers, or wineries and several beer-centric events. This number is growing every day, making it possible to build a whole vacation around craft beer and beverages.
This self-guided tour runs from the southern end of the region in Monmouth north up to The Forks. Many of the breweries offer food, whether it be a full menu or wood-fired pizza. Those that do not often offer snacks, host food trucks, or allow you to bring your own food. Check their websites for more info in advance of a visit.
This tour takes 4.25 hours to complete without stops. We recommend allowing 2 to 3 days to cover them all with time to enjoy, or pick two or three for a day trip.
Bring along a Designated Driver. Please keep in mind driving under the influence (DUI) inhibits your ability to drive safely. Alcoholic beverages can cause impairment. Driving impaired puts you and everyone else on the road in danger.
