Thank you for supporting the restoration and preservation of the Old Clarkesville Cemetery. We invite you to immerse yourself in the stories of this sacred place.

Please tread carefully as you move through the cemetery to locate the tour stops.

You will notice many white crosses—these are unmarked graves documented by a ground-penetrating radar survey conducted in 2021. You will also notice another type of marker on the annex property. These flat rocks mark an additional 140 graves documented by ground-penetrating radar in 2022.

Also, watch for the many markers that are simply small stones.
