Tour Overview

In this self-guided audio tour, you will learn about some of the native trees that are thriving at Gloria Dei (Old Swedes') Church. Alice Reyes, your guide, will describe how the Lenape, New Sweden Colonists and early Philadelphians relied on them for survival. And you'll learn how you can use them in your own garden to attract and sustain local wildlife.

The tour takes place in the graveyard. Please try to stay on the brick paths. And be mindful of small gravestones when walking through the graveyard. As you go through each stop, be sure to scroll down through the narrative to see artwork related to each story. You can use the map built into this app as a reference.
