Tour Overview
What can bonsai tell us about authentic learning with educational technology?
As you enter Ju Raku En 寿 楽 園 (which translated means 'to enjoy peace and longevity in a public garden') you will also be entering a digital learning experience to discover the Japanese gardens purpose and cultural significance. Your tools will be four modern learning technologies (mobile learning, gamification, digital storytelling and geo-location) which when used together in a location-based mobile learning tour can raise the bar for how and when students acquire knowledge and understanding.
