Lake District Afternoon Tour

Next, travel to Hill Top Farm in the peaceful village of Near Sawrey — the beloved 17th-century farmhouse Beatrix Potter purchased in 1905. The house remains almost exactly as she left it, lovingly preserved by the National Trust as a tribute to her life, art, and conservation legacy.

The final stop is the storybook village of Hawkshead, with its medieval charm, winding lanes, and whitewashed cottages. Explore local artisan shops, sample regional delights like Hawkshead Relish and Grasmere Gingerbread, and visit the Grammar School once attended by William Wordsworth, where his early writings are still on display.
