How to Walk the Trail
Our trail will guide you on a walking tour around Birgu, lasting approximately 60 minutes. Along the way, you’ll receive alerts as you reach each of the 12 stops on the trail, marking sites where historical reservoirs lie beneath your feet. These reservoirs, some of which date back to the early 16th century, highlight Malta’s innovative water management legacy. Each stop provides insights into the reservoir’s history, architecture, and conservation, bringing the past to life as you explore the area.
