Take in the charm of Stromness with this Scenic Stroll Tour. Starting with Stromness harbour, where boats and sea views capture the town’s maritime spirit. Pause at the John Rae statue to reflect on the explorer’s remarkable legacy.

Continue to the Alexander Graham Bell Fountain, a decorative landmark with plenty of character, then on to the harbour cannon, a striking reminder of Stromness’s seafaring past.

The walk concludes at the peaceful George Mackay Brown Memorial Garden, where public artwork inspired by his poetry offers a tranquil place to pause and take in the beauty around you.
