Diabolus ex machina

An audio path by Fred Pellerin

Inspired by the rich folklore associated with the Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site, the Diabolus ex machina audio path consists of 14 sound capsules presented as a pseudo-documentary. Lasting approximately 90 minutes, this outdoor walk invites you to enter the historical and legendary world of the Forges-du-Saint-Maurice and to discover the site through the playful lenses of iconic Québec storyteller Fred Pellerin.

This audio path is offered only at the historic site, to encourage immersion in the place where this rich history was born. The audio files are geolocated to play on-site only. You will receive a code to access the sound capsules at the reception desk of the historic site.

Fred Pellerin is a Francophone artist who creates all his works in French. Therefore, the original sound capsules will be available only in French. To experience the path in English, please refer to the translation of the scenario.
