Why a 'Safari'?! Read on! This route offers you the opportunity to explore some sometimes-overlooked areas of Cambridgeshire. You have the option to start this road trip at a friendly Cars and Coffee event in a very picturesque location. There are then some unusual animal-themed stops, some sights to keep your eyes open for and the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Ely, before finishing up with dinner at a really lovely American-style diner with a great menu.

This trip has been categorised as ‘Medium’ for mechanical anxieties. The Fens are famed for having the roads suffer with subsidence - so while the route lacks potentially stressful inclines, you might have to keep your eyes peeled for some uneven sections! There are also some villages with somewhat surprising speed bumps if you don’t keep your eyes peeled as you enter.
It is worth noting that part of the road on the way to Ely is liable to flood in certain seasons. Checks on whether this is the case and if a diversion will need to be made can be done here.
