Tour Overview
Hello and Welcome to Seward!
We are excited to share the best of Seward with you today. When the Ballaine Brothers arrived in Seward in 1903, they came with a dream of building a railway from this ocean port to the mineral rich interior of Alaska. Starting a town in the remote wilderness attracted characters with big dreams, grit, and a sense of adventure. As we walk about Seward today we will explore the past and the people and events that shaped this small town into the charming destination that you see today.
