Tour Overview
Founded in 1909, Rockaway Beach, Oregon has been a popular beachfront destination for more than a century. From the "daddy trains" that brought fathers from Portland to visit their families in the summer, to our ever-popular Fourth of July parade and fireworks display, Rockaway Beach retains much of its history as part of the small-town appeal that continues to draw visitors from around the world.
This interactive Heritage Tour will take you through some of the historic buildings that have made Rockaway Beach the quaint tourist attraction it has always been, and give you an insight into some of the town's former attractions, many hiding in plain sight.
