Tour Overview
The Wild Atlantic Way is listed as one of our "Multi-Day Tours" due to the Length of the Journey. Depending on individual tastes, we recommend planning from 3 to 7 days to complete it. It is a 1500 km coastal drive from Kinsale in County Cork (in the far south of Ireland) to Malin Head in County Donegal (the northernmost point in Ireland) and has been referred to by many in the global tourism industry as one of the most stunningly beautiful dedicated coastal drives in the world – many believe, rivaling California’s Pacific Coast Highway.
There are more than 180 possible stops along the Wild Atlantic Way. We have selected 46 of what we consider the best stops. Users can choose some or all of these locations based on the time available.
Suggested accommodation stops include Kinsale at one end of the route and Derry City at the other end, with possible overnights at Limerick, Galway, Westport, and Donegal along the way depending on the quantity of visits.
