Palmetto Parkway Trail

The Palmetto Parkway Trail is a paved multi-use path that stretches for approximately 4.8 miles along the eastern edge of North Augusta and neighboring Belvedere, South Carolina. Despite its proximity to the interstate, the trail feels peaceful and green, making it a favored route for walkers, joggers, and cyclists alike. The terrain is gently rolling, with long, steady inclines that provide a moderate workout without being too strenuous. It winds through open spaces and lightly wooded areas, offering glimpses of local wildlife and the changing South Carolina seasons. Though the trail doesn’t directly connect to the more well-known North Augusta Greeneway, it lies just about two miles away from its nearest access point, allowing dedicated users to easily link the two paths for a longer outing.
