Mechanic Arts High School Drinking Fountain

The Mechanic Arts High School Drinking Fountain is located on the ground floor of the Minnesota Judicial Center right outside of the State Law Library! Right across, there is a display case that has details about the Minnesota Judicial Center's history and groundbreaking.

The Dedication Ceremony Display Case

This display case houses artifacts from the Dedication Ceremony of the Minnesota Judicial Center in 1995. It also houses information abuot the Minnesota Judicial Center.

Courtroom 100

You can find me by climbing the stairs from the ground floor. I'm one of the first things you'll see once you climb the stairs!

Courtroom 200

This courtroom is identical to Courtroom 100, which is directly below Courtroom 200. All of the courtrooms are finished in Kasota stone and stained oak wall panels that are compatible with the Minnesota Historical Society building. The translucent marble windows allow soft natural light into the room.

Courtroom 300

The Supreme Court uses both Courtroom 300 (left) and the State Capitol courtroom (right) to hear oral arguments, which are spoken presentations made by lawyers to present reasons why their client's case should prevail. The seven Supreme Court justices and the Supreme Court Commissioner's office handle more than 800 cases.Oral arguments are limited to one hour for each case. The appellant's lawyer has 35 minutes to address the court, and the respondent has 25 minutes.

The Falling Water Skylight

The Falling Water Skylight sits at the very top of the inside of the Minnesota Judicial Center. Take the grand staircase to the top floor and look up while you ascend the stairs to the top floor. It really is breathtaking!
