Tour Overview
In August 2025, eight interpretive panels were installed throughout the Sailboat Bend Historic District, each offering a window into the neighborhood’s rich past. These signs aren’t just markers - they’re storytellers. With embedded QR codes linking to an interactive walking tour, visitors can dive deeper into the tales that shaped this vibrant community. The signs are strategically placed at historically significant sites - each one chosen to highlight key events, notable figures, and landmark locations. This project is part of the Sailboat Bend Historic District Vision Plan 2025, and it’s all about celebrating identity, sparking curiosity, and building pride of the community. Whether you're a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, these signs invite you to explore, learn, and connect with the spirit of Sailboat Bend.
