Saw Museum
Timber Rafting in Schiltach. In 1998, locals got together in the historical old inn "Zur alten Brücke“ to form a timber rafting club, 100 years after timber rafting had past into history. The Schiltach raftsmen wanted to keep alive the tradition of timber transport down the Kinsig to the Rhine (ultimately to Amsterdam) that had made the town renown. And so timber rafting in Schiltach was reborn. In autumn 2000, a traditional 60 meter raft was launched and once again traveled down the Kinzig river.
