Tour Overview
A Walking Tour of Historic Amarillo Street
Amarillo Street was originally one of the boundaries of the Mounts Farm, to the east. After the redevelopment of John B. Denton College into Denton High School in 1912 spurred development on Amarillo, the construction of the Senior High School in 1924 further increased development, filling Amarillo with residential properties.
