Tour Overview

1.Religion—-2.Entertainment—–3.Food culture

1. Religion

As Indonesia is a religious country, with about 80 percent of the population practicing Islam, the importance of mosques for Indonesian domestic workers cannot be overstated.

2. Entertainment

As full-time domestic helpers who come to work in Hong Kong, weekends are their weekly holidays. Their recreational activities in Hong Kong usually consist of sitting around in parks with close friends, eating, singing, and talking. Kowloon Park, with its lush vegetation and wide open spaces, is their favorite place to gather.

3. Food culture

Due to the large number of immigrant races in Indonesia, the food is a mixture of different nationalities, with Chinese food being the most profound influence, but also combining Indian specialties to create unique Indonesian meals.
