Statue Square

which formerly was ruled by a sitting bronze statue of Queen Victoria. The HSBC, an attractive and contemporary structure located within the square, is the fourth HSBC structure to occupy the location over a span of 150 years. It is a remarkable illustration of how feng shui and contemporary environmental characteristics have been incorporated in the modern Hong Kong, having been constructed by Lord Norman Foster in the early 1980s.

supreme court

one of the last colonial structures still standing in Hong Kong. This exquisite and historic structure, which was constructed from Kowloon granite in the neoclassical style to house the Supreme Court, is now the location of the Court of Final Appeal. On the first section of reclaimed land, it is located.

The French mission building

a significant historical structure in Hong Kong. The current three-story granite and red brick structure was constructed in 1917 on the site of an earlier residence where Sir Henry Pottinger, the first governor of Hong Kong, lived from 1843 to 1846. The French Mission purchased the structure in 1915, and today, it is still frequently referred to by this name. It has had a number of owners throughout the years, including the Court of Final Appeal, the Russian consulate, and an American trading business.

St John Cathedral

The only freehold lease in Hong Kong was used to construct this stunning Cathedral, which is shaped like a cross. It hasn't changed much since it was first constructed and is one of the first structures from the British rule to survive. With construction completed in 1849, it is both the oldest Anglican church in the Far East and the oldest Western ecclesiastical structure still standing in Hong Kong. In 1996, it was designated as a monument.

The oldest colonial home is located in Hong Kong Park and is now home to the Museum of Tea Ware.

the central mid levels escalator

The addition of this 800-meter convenience in the 1990s raised the property values of both mid-level homes and the streets that crossed the escalator, resulting in the creation of the new district known as SoHo.

Tai Kwun

Victoria Prison, formerly a police station, has been restored to its former splendor and expanded with two new building volumes. Public access to its magnificent courtyard space is now available. The former jail cells are still there. Additionally, the structure incorporates eateries, stores, and exhibition spaces.
