Flint Odyssey House

Built in 1927 this six-story low-rise hotel was built to catch the overflow of the much larger Durant Hotel. After being a hotel it became Marion Hall for the elderly then it became Odyssey House and reopened as a drug rehabilitation house for addicts.The elevator is a hot spot of paranormal activity. Screams from the shaft and the shadowy figure of a man entering and exited the elevator are often seen.

The Durant

Named after the founder and president of General Motors, William C. Durant, The Durant Hotel opened its doors in December of 1920.When all is quiet laughter, footsteps, and the sound of dancing echo through the grand ballroom. Could Billy Durant be reliving his glory days in the afterlife?

The Dryden Building

The Dryden Building was built in 1902, by W.A. Patterson, a carriage maker and major developer of downtown Flint. It stands at the corner of Saginaw and Second Streets.Rumors swirl that the ghost of Mr. Patterson still wanders through the building.

The Capitol Theatre

The Capitol first opened its doors at 140 E 2nd St on January 19, 1928Ghostly apparitions have been seen on the balcony, the stage, and by the back door. Strange knocking sounds and disembodied singing have also been reported.

Flint Masonic Temple

Officially dedicated in 1911, the Flint Masonic Temple is located in the heart of downtown. Shadowy figures, strange noises and the distant haunting sound of organ music fill this old building. Many who have worked in the building have experienced strange encounters and ghostly apparitions.

The Cornwall Building

Construction began on the house in the early 1870s by Royal Ripley who lived on premised from 1874 to 1881. In 1881 Er Milner purchased the home and completed construction on it in 1883. The ghost of Jennie Milner Cornwall is said to haunt the premises. Sometimes you can see her looking out the window.

Stockton Center at Spring Grove

The Stockton Center at Spring Grove, 720 Ann Arbor Street, is a haunting example of Italianate architecture. The house first belonged to Colonel Thomas Baylis Whitmarsh Stockton and his family before becoming a hospital and then a nursing home. Considered to be Flint's most haunted location countless ghostly encounters have occurred in this building. Some believe the Stockton Family still reside in the home, Colonel Stockton himself watching over it for eternity.
