Working Hands

Painted by City of Tahlequah employee, Harlie Busbee, the Working Hands mural represents the dedication our community has to working together to lift Tahlequah towards progress.

Spring Street Harry

The Spring Street Hideaway is an adorable bungalow located in Downtown Tahlequah. Home of the almost world famous Harry mural, you can find this stop at 111 Spring Street. Local artist Amber Watson brought the mural to life based off of the buliding owner's design for the propoerty marketing when it was purchased a restored into a 2 bed/1 bath Airbnb.

Below the Surface

A stunning mural created by local artist and NSU professor, Lance Hunter was completed in 2020. The mural highlights the importance of women and education in society. This mural can be found on the south side of 401 N Muskogee Avenue, on the corner of Morgan and Muskogee.

Reaching for Peace

The Reaching for Peace mural was created in 2004 by local artist and professor, Lance Hunter. After many uears of community enjoyment, the mural was restored in 2018 by replacing an exterior door, applying protective clear acrylic varnish, and repainting the awning covering. It was originally designed to commemorate the centennial of Northeastern State University and can be found on the north side of the NSU Art Gallery at 323 N Muskogee Avenue.

Coffee Time!

The Coffee Time mural was submitted by Lift Coffee Bar for the 2019 TMSA Big Impact grant program. It and two other murals were selected by the community to be the funded project. Local artist and business owner, Amanda Lamberson headed up the project and began the three pieces at the end of 2019 and completed them in 2020. This mural is on the north side of Lift Coffee Bar at 309 N Muskogee Avenue.

Workman's Department Store

This staple mural has been in Downtown Tahlequah for as long as most of us can remember. Current owner, Angie Cook, stated that she's pretty sure it's been there since before she was born. As one of our oldest murals in downtown Tahlequah that are still in existance, we appreciate how striking it still looks today.

Too Fond of Books

Located on the downtown bookstore with the same namesake, Too Fond of Books mural can be found on the north side of the building at 162 N Muskogee Ave. This stunning mural was created by local artist Amber Watson and based off of Too Fond of Books logo.

Kimberly's Words of Affirmation

Located on the back of Kimberly's, you'll find a beautiful array of colorful flowers with uplifting and positive words throughout the scape. The bright pink door or pops of colors make it a great photo op spot!

From, Tahlequah

The From, Tahlequah mural is located on the back of the original Phoenix Building and commemorated with the old logo featured as the stamp. Submitted for the 2019 Big Impact grant program by building and business owner Kalan Lloyd, she wanted to memorialize the historic building that now houses her business Lloyd Legal. Amanda Lamberson brought to life this mural as well as three others that began in 2019 and were completed in 2020. This mural is located on the BACK of 104 S Muskogee Ave

Tah"LOVE"quah

The Tah"LOVE"quah has been on the side of our beloved Meigs Jewelry since 2017. Painted by their very own master jeweler, Justin Scott, the site is frequently used for newly engaged couples to commemorate their new beginning. You can find this sentimental piece on the south side of Meigs Jewelry at 100 N Musogee Avenue

Shop Local

The Shop Local Mural spans the entirety of Sand Tech Screen Printing. The "Shop Local" VW Bug portion of the mural was completed by local artist Amanda Lamberson as one of the winners for the 2019 Big Impact grant program. Sand Tech owner Addie Wyont and employee Emily Fell refubished an existing mural and added to the remaining empty space. A fun and vibrant mural that features a heighth chart and big foot can be found at 120 N Water Avenue.

Prime Time

Featured on the south side of Prime Time Buds at 317 N Water Ave you will find the Prime Time mural. Artist Austin Anderson created the painting in May of 2020. He is a tatto and mural artist from Fort Smith, Arkansas.
