Lin Heung Tea House

People on our tour can experience the traditional Cantonese-style teahouse in the Lin Heung tea house. Lin Heung tea house was opened in 1927, which was almost a hundred years. You can find many old-fashioned decorations there. For example, there are birdcages hanging on the ceiling. People used to bring their pets to the tea houses before. There are also some handwritten menus and some Chinese wall paintings on the wall, which make people feel like went in the 90s. One of the selling points of the Lin Heung tea house is the dim sum cart and the tea pitcher. The waitress will call out the name of the dim sum and sell. The customer needs to bring out their dim sum card, for the waitress to stamp on and get the dim sum. Tea pitcher is easy for the tea leaves to settle on the bottom, and the tea leaves roll over when adding water. Those two things are hard to find in nowadays restaurants. So that, our tour can let you experience the old central neighborhood activity in Lin Heung tea house.
