1711 Dandridge Avenue, 37915Overlooking downtown and the Smoky Mountains, this historic site preserves an 1858 Italianate house and one of the largest original family collections in the United States. Mabry’s Hill features over 34 viewable dogwoods and a restoration project is underway to recover an additional grove of dogwoods. As a level 1 arboretum, the site conserves 32 species of trees including 90-year-old southern magnolias, ancient oaks and maples, and Carolina silverbells.Open Gardens are open for self guided tours from 10am-6pm during April 1-30. Please visit only when yard signs are displayed.
