Festival Conference and Student Center

This location is your starting point in your self-guided tour.The Festival Center was built in 1999.Festival is home to the JMU Mineral Museum. The museum houses the Peter L. Via Collection (valued at over $16.8 million). The museum's grand re-opening is set for October 29, 2021. The Mineral Museum is one of the largest collections of minerals in the world! Chandler Hall (formerly Potomac Hall)

Chandler Hall was built in 1998 and was the first dorm built as part of the expansion of JMU's campus across I-81. Chandler Hall has 2 wings, each 5 stories tall. It can house 430 students.Check out the YouTube link if you want to hear JMU students discuss life at Chandler Hall (they give you some valuable tips that might help you prepare for dorm likfe in your future)! Note: the audio is a little quiet.

East Campus Dining Hall (E-Hall)

E-Hall opened in 2009 and can hold 700 students.E-Hall was JMU's first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified facility. Waste from E-Hall is composted in an attempt to reduce dining-related waste.
