Main Hall / Front Entrance

Walk up our sweep of ramps or stairs to the Sueltenfuss Library's main entrance. Through the 15ft. double metal doors, we hope you'll stop and appreciate the beauty of the great hall and staircase. This is the mezzanine level, halfway between the first and second floors, and is outfitted with comfortable seating for study or relaxation. Use the double staircase or the elevator to the right of the hall to access the second floor.

Circulation Desk / Reference Desk

The heart of the library, the second floor foyer holds both the main circulation desk and information reference desk. Say hello to our friendly staff at the circulation desk and and access essential services, including: help with your library account; checkout and return of library materials; technical support for computer, printer, and scanner access; reservation of study rooms; and directional help to locations in the library and around campus. The information reference desk provides answers to library, research, and information questions large and small. Computer Stations / Printing / Scanning

The hub of our technical services is available just beyond the circulation and reference desks. Computer stations, printers, and a scanner are all available for use by students, faculty, and staff. Guest access to our computers is also available to OLLU alumni by visiting the circulation desk.

"La Historia Chicana" Mural / IS Lab

Look up! Our gorgeous, inspiring, 100ft. long mural "La Historia Chicana" by renowned artist Jesse Trevino. An alumni and honorary doctorate recipient at OLLU, Jesse’s pride of the West Side, San Antonio, and Our Lady of the Lake University is evident in the composition that depicts Mexican-American history, flowing seamlessly from one generation to the next.For more information on "La Historia Chicana": https://library.ollusa.edu/historyThe library's main instruction space is located in the middle of the library's second floor. Restrooms and Water Fountain

Everybody needs a break. You'll find our restrooms and water fountain on all three floors in the east end of the building, farthest away from the main entrance.

2nd Floor Study Rooms

Journals Collections / Study Spaces

The second floor is home to our print journals - browse our collection of professional and trade journals in a wide variety of disciplines. Journals are available for checkout. You'll also find wide open spaces and comfortable seating to spread out and get your studies going!

Popular Books Collection

Browse our growing popular books collection containing new releases and classic titles in popular fiction, non-fiction, manga, and graphic novels. Spend some time unwinding with a good book and explore a new world.

Stairwell to all Floors

Find open stairwell access on the north side of the building to all three floors. The stairwell is usable during the library's open hours and for emergency exit at all times. A second emergency-only stairwell is accessible in the back of the library, near the restrooms and study rooms.

Events Display / Elevator

As you step on or off the elevator, take a moment to enjoy the library's special displays, celebrating holidays, events. and ideas. You'll see materials from the library's collection on display, and you are welcome and encouraged to pick up a resource and take it home to enjoy! (Check out available at the circulation desk!)
