A guided, historical tour of important Gold mining sites in the area.
KLG SRC invites you to join our fun summer Scavenger Hunt / Historical tour!
During this tour you will visit and learn about some important historical sites in the areas history of Gold mining. With the assistance from the staff at the Museum of Northern History we have curated some photos and historical facts related to each site so that you and your family can learn about each site you are visiting.
This is a free tour that will allow you to take a look into our town's rich history in the Gold mining industry while getting out and having some COVID friendly fun!
This is a free roam tour - so you can visit the sites in any order you'd like - or visit all our sites over the course of the event! Once you've finished visiting all the sites you'll be eligible for a great treat!
