Man Mo Temple

The Man Mo Yee Tai Temple was built in 1892 together with seven villages. The temple was declared a monument in 1984. It worships Kwan Tai, Man Mo Yee Tai and Man Cheung and used to arbitrate, worship and conferences. Besides using it as a worship function, traditional Chinese architecture was also admirable. The temple has four walls surrounded to keep silent, the eaves were a symbol of New Territories' architecture. Walking to the courtyard can see eight rooms lying on both sides. Two Taoism emperors, Kwan Tai and Man Cheung Tai. Man Cheung Tai was taking a Chinese brush wearing robes on right and Kwan Tai's face was in red with a long beard on left.

Hong Kong Railway Museum

Island House as one of the most significant combinations of Chinese and modern western architecture was built in 1905. A long time ago, it acted as the residence for government officer, nowadays it becomes the protection of unique species of plants.Walking inside the house, you can escape from the ‘concrete jungle’, enjoy being surrounded by plants and seeing the beautiful view of the coastline of Tolo harbour. Also, you can view the pretty building structure of the house, taking photos with the red brick arcaded rooftop and visit the bedrooms which were belonged to the British Hong Kong government officers.It is worth visiting if you are interested in both the cases of the beauty of nature and Architectural aesthetics.
