Callery Pear (Pyrus calleryana)This tree was found in my yard. They are normally found in Asia, but it was introduced to North America. It is planted along streets and in parks here. The reason I included it in this tour is because of the beautiful flowers it has. They are white and super small.

Japanese Barberry (Berberis thunbergii)This was found at my house. It has been naturalized to North America. I like this small tree because of the red fruits and yellow flowers.

Common Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea)This tree was also found in my yard. It grows best in deep moist soils. The reason this tree is included in my tour is because of the really pretty white flowers and the black berries it produces.

Burning Bush (Euonymus alatus)This is an invasive species in the woodlands of North America. I included it in this tour because th eleaves are a really cool red.

White Mulberry (Morus alba)This tree was found at state gamelands near my house. It was introduced to North America and naturalized along fencerows and woodland edges. I like this Tree because the berries are really cool. It is also just a really pretty tree.

American Nightshade (Solanum americanum)This is also found at the state game lands. This is naturalized in North America. I included this because the flowers are really pretty. ALso because the bark is a purple color.

Norway Maple (Acer platanoides)This was also found at the sate game lands. It was introduced to North AMerica and it is origionally found along streams and in moist woods in Western Europe and India. I like this Tree because of the cool leaves and the fruit.

Weeping Cherry (Prunus subhirtella)This was found where my grandparnts live. I included this tree because it looks really pretty. The white to pink flowers are also very pretty.

Flowering Dogwood (Cornus florida)This was found where my grandparents live. It can be found in mostly hardwood forests. I included this in the tour because I really like the white flowers. I also think the fruit is pretty cool.

Common Winterberry (llex verticillate)This was found at my grandparents house. It is mostly found in wet woodlands and swamps. I included it in the tour because the flowers are pretty. The fruit is also really pretty.

Western Hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla)This was found at my grandparents house. They are mostly found in moist forests on coastal and inland slopes. I like this tree because I think all hemlocks are really coo. I think that the needles and the way they look are cool.

Scarlett Oak (Quercus coccinea)This tree was found at my grandparents house. I like this tree because I think the leaves are really cool. I also think that acorns are cool.

American Sycamore (Platanus occidentaalis)This was found at my grandparents house. It can be found in lowlands, along waterways and floodplains in hardwood forests, and in abandoned fields. I like this tree because the flowers are really pretty. I also think the leaves are cool.

Northern Catalpa (Catalpa speciosa)This was found at my grandparents house. They can be found along riverbanks, bottomlands, clearings and roadsides I added this to the project because I like the flowers. They are white and are in clusters. I think the leaves are really cool as well.

Common Juniper (Juniperus communis)This was found at my grandparents house. They are found in poor rocky soils, pastures, coasts, mountains, and subarctic sites. I like this tree because the needle like leaves are really cool. The cones are also cool because they are berrylike.

Silver Maple ( Acer saccharinum)This was found at my grandparents house. They can be found in floodplains, swamps, and along waterways. I included this tree because I just think maple trees are really cool. I like their leaves.

Honeylocust (Gleditsia triacanthos)This was found at my grandparents house. They are found in a variety of well-drained sites, from moist watersides to dry limestone uplands and often in broadleaf woodlands. I included this tree because the fruit is really cool.

Butternut (Juglans cinerea)This was found at my grandparents house. It can be found in moist valleys and dry, rocky slopes. This is included because I like the leaves. I also think it is just a cool tree. It's crown is irregularly shaped.

Western Redcedar (Thuja plicata)This was found at my grandparents house. It can be found in coastal and mountain forests. I like all trees with needles. I just think they look really cool. I especially like cedar trees.
