A medium sized sugar maple (Acer saccharum) overlooking Sandy Stream

A small patch of Red Elderberries (Sambucus racemosa) located between Sandy Stream and Bacon Brook. This awesome plant has been proven to cut cold and flu times in half!

A lone Paper Birch (Betula papyrifera) surrounded by Yellow Birches (Betula alleghaniensis)

A young Balsam Fir (Abies balsamea) growing in the open canopy next to the trail
