The National Museum of Male is a building containing a well-labelled collection of artefacts. Unfortunately, the museum was broken into by a mob of religious extremists during protests against the government. During this event 30 ancient Buddhist coral stone carvings were stolen. After the event the museum enforced their security so no more important artefacts were stolen.
