Arlington National Cemetery (Introduction)

The land that makes up Arlington National Cemetery once belonged to George Washington Parke Custis, who was the grandson of Martha Washington and step-grandson of George Washington. He is the one that built the Arlington House that you will see as we walk to the Kennedy grave site. Two United States Presidents are buried at Arlington (Taft and Kennedy). Twelve Supreme Court justices are buried in Arlington. Lincoln's son and grandson are buried here.
