Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) A&E

MRI is the biggest hospital site in Central Manchester. The Accident and Emergency department (A&E) is for patients requiring emergency care for serious and life-threatening conditions. In case of an emergency this is the place you should go. No appointment is required. If you cannot get to the hospital yourself due to an injury or illness, call 999 for an ambulance.The A&E department only treats serious injuries or illnesses. Manchester Royal Infirmary has one of only three walk-in centres located in Manchester. The Walk-In Centre provide immediate health treatment free of charge and without the need to book an appointment.
