Eagle Point Park Lodge

Many weddings, graduations and family events have been hosted at the Lodge over the last 80 years. In 2016, the Rotary Club of Clinton raised over $1,000,000 in the community to renovate and revive this iconic venue. Seating for 300 on the patio with a view of the widest point of the Mississippi River; available year-round and 7 days a week, for any type of meeting or social gathering.Park area includes: Recreational trails, dog park, disc golf, volleyball, basketball, cross-country skiing, sledding, playground equipment, picnic tables & grills, restrooms and shelters. Picnic, hike or cross-country ski around this 200-acre park of spectacular bluffs along the river in Clinton. A 1937 Stone Tower provides a spectacular view of the Mississippi River and surrounding area. The North end overlook provides a panoramic view of the widest bank of the Mississippi River.

The Catholic Historical Center at St. Boniface

Steeped in the history of the north-end Lyons area of Clinton and located just blocks from the Mississippi River, the building now serves as the home of the Catholic Historical Center. Clinton County Courthouse

It was built in 1897 and added to the National Register of Historic Places July 2, 1981, as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. It is the fourth courthouse that has been used by the county.

Clinton Area Showboat Theater

Late in 1983 the Clinton Park Board and the Showboat Advisory Board founded the Showboat Players.In the summer of 1984, the first group of Showboat Players debuted at the Lillian Russell Theatre. From this group, CAST was created. Riverfront Park

Tennis, pickleball and sand volleyball courts, skate parks, little league baseball fields, and the Riverview bandshell. The bandshell is host to dozens of concerts including our own Clinton Symphony Orchestra which has been performing for over 60 years. George M Curtis Mansion (Clinton Women's Club)

Clinton Public Library

Andrew Carnegie was providing funds for libraries across the country and the citizens of Clinton hoped that they too would benefit from his generosity. Mr. Carnegie responded with the provision that the citizens provide an acceptable site and annual operating budget of not less than 10% of the stipend.The land where the library is currently located was donated to the city by Emma Lamb Young. The ground was broken on June 24, 1903, and construction was completed one year later in June 1904.
