Tour Overview
The 1½-mile Liberty Hyde Bailey Loop leads you from the Cornell Botanic Gardens’ Nevin Welcome Center past many garden gems along the way.
With a campus that houses two gorges, a man-made lake, meadows, a 100-acre arboretum, and countless cultivated gardens, the outdoor landscape is a fundamental part of the Cornell University experience. This 1 mile walking route will lead you through various campus gardens, showing you the charming spots where plant life and learning come together. The tour ends near the Cornell Dairy Bar, where you can enjoy lunch and some Cornell ice cream.
